Tree Regulation Update Advisory Committee

This summer the Tree Regulation Update Advisory Committee (TRUAC) has been meeting to help the City of Bend come up with new rules that aim to protect trees during development while balancing housing affordability.

The committee is comprised of various community members including professional arborists, neighborhood district representatives, developers, environmentalists and more who bring together differing perspectives that are taken into consideration throughout the creation of the code.
