The Rethink Waste Project of The Environmental Center received a two-year grant from Oregon DEQ for Reuse Bend – an initiative to switch Bend and Central Oregon’s food service sector from single-use serviceware to reusables – and is now hiring a Reuse Bend Coordinator to help implement the project.
The coordinator would conduct outreach to food service businesses, support marketing and communications activities, and handle administrative tasks. This is a part-time position, 16 hours a week, with pay starting at $20.97/hr and eligible increases up to $24.97/hr. Bilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply. The application window is open through March 13th, with an expected start date of mid-end April.
