The much anticipated ‘Bend Tree Project’ has officially launched! This link takes you to the Urban Forestry webpage with project details which went live yesterday:
We will need a small army of volunteers, so your help in spreading the word would be greatly appreciated. Please send it widely through your contact lists and encourage them to watch the short video to get oriented.
There are a few pieces of crucial volunteer information to review. Anyone interested in being part of a tree inventory data collection team on a weekly basis for the project should sign up using the fillable form on the webpage.
People can also contact me directly by email for additional information. There are initial training days on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd from 10am-3pm (pick one – first served basis).
Trees are the answer!
Cheers,
